Apple introduces Apple Creator Studio, an inspiring collection of the most powerful creative apps.
Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Motion, Compressor, and MainStage — plus new AI features and premium content in Keynote, Pages, and Numbers — come together in a single subscription.

I designed and shipped a core video editing workflow for Final Cut Pro, built to meet millions of new creators arriving through the Apple Creator Studio.
As the sole product design intern on the Video Applications team, I owned UI/UX, interaction design, copywriting, iconography, and animation for Final Cut Pro in preparation for its arrival in the Apple Creator Studio. Working with a heavily dispersed team, I…
Designed and shipped workflows in creating new libraries, importing media, and adding clips new timelines.
Partnered with marketing to align on UX copy and with engineering from design spec through build.
Aligned work with teams behind Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Keynote, and more, keeping every stakeholder in sync.

Implemented into the everyday editing experience.
The workflow I designed is now part of the everyday editing experience in Final Cut Pro, and helped establish the interaction patterns that carried the app into Apple Creator Studio. Announced by Apple in January 2026, the Apple Creator Studio made headlines in the creator community, signaling that professional-grade creative tools had just become more accessible.

Reflection: Storytelling is half the job.
Everybody loves a good story, and the best ones allow us to imagine possibilities we hadn't considered before. I presented a lot at Apple, formally and informally. Decks that centered on a moment where someone is using a design to do something they couldn't do before were the ones that followed people out the door. There's a stark difference between explaining and storytelling, and my standards for presentations and design defense have been spoiled ever since.
