Reflection
Reflection
Everybody loves a good story, and the best ones allow us to step into someone else's shoes and imagine possibilities we hadn't considered before.
I presented a lot at Apple, formally and informally, and watched plenty of excellent presentations from colleagues on teams I worked alongside. Decks that centered on a moment where someone is using a design to do something they couldn't do before, were the ones that followed people out the door. There's a stark difference between explaining and storytelling, and my standards for presentations have been spoiled ever since.
